San Diego Hidden Gem

San Diego Skyline

San Diego. Small big city in Southern California, home of so many beautiful people. When someone says ‘San Diego’, there are several things that come to my mind:

The Zoo, Sea World, the pristine beaches, craft beer, high ranking universities and colleges, amazing shopping malls and the best weather all year long.

San Diego is also home of the San Diego Padres baseball team and they play over at Petco Park, one of the most beautiful baseball parks in the country.

This city is also known for how its neighborhoods are clearly identified.

On the north county of San Diego, we find Carlsbad, Encinitas, Carmel Valley and Del Mar, Escondido, Poway, Rancho Santa Fe, Oceanside, San Marcos, and Solana Beach.

Central and Coastal San Diego we have La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Mission Hills, Bankers Hill, Hillcrest, Little Italy, Gaslamp Quarter, East Village, Ocean Beach, Point Loma, and Coronado Island.

Inland county we have Normal Heights, North Park and South Park and central San Diego.

East county is also beautiful. El Cajon, Pine Valley, Julian, Jacumba, Lemon Grove, Lakeside, La Mesa, Spring Valley, Santee and Descanso.

Southern county we find Barrio Logan, National City, Bonita, Imperial Beach, Chula Vista, Otay Mesa and San Ysidro.

Every single one of these neighborhoods (to name a few) has entertainment, fine dining, local business, and great housing opportunities. Most people choose where to live based on commute to their work or school.

San Diego is known as “America’s Finest City” because it is. If you have not been here in a while, we are waiting for you. If you live here, I truly recommend being a tourist in our own San Diego. I bet you will feel you traveled to a faraway place just by visiting neighborhoods in your own city.
