Jeff Redondo is a dedicated professional in the non-profit sector, known for his ability to create both economic and social impact through strategic partnerships and strong relationships. From an early age, Jeff was inspired by his parents, who instilled in him the value of altruism and the importance of giving back to the community.
Throughout his career, Jeff has faced significant challenges, such as leaving an organization without another job lined up. His determination and focus on clear career goals helped him quickly find a new position aligned with his values. From this experience, he learned the importance of always keeping the end goal in mind and making every decision with that objective as a guide.
One of Jeff’s most influential mentors has been Ron deHarte, who taught him that non-profits should be managed with the same efficiency as any business. This means always looking for ways to save money and increase revenue, even in program areas that are typically considered a drain on resources.
When it comes to fundraising, Jeff emphasizes the importance of building authentic relationships with donors and stakeholders. He believes that success comes from truly getting to know people, discovering what they are passionate about, and not being afraid to ask for support when you believe in the cause. Small gestures—like sending a birthday card or inviting someone for coffee—are essential to maintaining long-term connections. In his personal life, Jeff finds balance and energy through theater and travel, activities that help him recharge and broaden his perspective. Looking ahead, his goals include expanding his community work, especially through the Old Globe, the Chula Vista Police Foundation, and revitalizing the Bonita Museum and Cultural Center. Jeff’s vision is always focused on creating new opportunities and breathing new life into cultural spaces, guided by his enduring commitment to service and community impact.
