Get ready to immerse yourself in citrus delight at the 27th Annual Lemon Festival in Downtown Chula Vista! Scheduled for August 17th 2024, this beloved event pays homage to the city’s citrus heritage, once known as the “Lemon Capital of the World.” From 11:00am to 6:00pm, Third Avenue will be transformed into a lemon paradise, offering a plethora of lemon theme treats, live music, photo opportunities with tarty the Lemon, a cook- off competition, arts and crafts vendors, and a dedicated kid’s area.
The festival, organized by the Downtown Chula Vista Association, is a cherished tradition that brings together tens of thousands of locals and visitors alike to celebrate the city’s agricultural history and vibrant community spirit.
