La Jolla Concours d’Elegance, presented by LPL Financial

Is celebrating its 18th year of automotive excellence from April 19 to April 21. This internationally renowned classic automobile showcase attracts car enthusiasts from around the world for a weekend of prestigious events. 

This year, the Concours highlights the transformative era of the 1920s and 1930s, featuring a diverse range of makes and models such as Bugatti, Duesenberg, Packard, Bentley, and Rolls Royce. These vehicles represent a time of innovation, luxury, and boundless enthusiasm for automotive craftsmanship.

The official La Jolla Concours artist, Scott Jacobs, will showcase his incredible photorealistic painting of the 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III from Aaron Wiess’ collection. This iconic vehicle epitomizes the luxury and engineering prowess of pre-war Rolls-Royce, with its aluminum-alloy V12 7.32-liter engine and advanced features.

The event also pays tribute to the craftsmanship and groundbreaking designs of the 1920s and 1930s, which defined the roaring 20s and glamorous 30s. This era saw significant advancements in automotive technology and accessibility, leading to the rise of new car brands and the popularity of leisure drives.

In addition to the Rolls-Royce, the event will feature an exquisite collection of automobiles, including the 1932 Chrysler CP8, 1930 Ruxton, 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia SS, 1955 Jaguar D-Type, 1973 250 cc Husqvarna Trials Bike, Aston Martin DB5, Fiat 1500 GT by Ghia, and 1962 Triumph Italia 2000 Vignale.

The weekend events include the Delights of La Jolla, the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance VIP Party, the La Jolla Concours Tour d’Elegance, Porsches on Prospect, and the main event, the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance. Each event offers unique experiences and opportunities to indulge in the legacy and charm of these automotive masterpieces.
