Martín Nuñez
An Inspiring man

Growing up in City Heights, he witnessed first-hand the need for legal advocates to protect victims of crime.
After graduating from California Western School of Law, he became a Volunteer Prosecutor in the San Diego City Attorney’s Office where he handled cases in the General Trial Unit, Consumer Fraud and Environmental Protection Unit, and Domestic Violence Unit. He then joined the San Diego District Attorney’s Office where he represented and served his community with pride.
Nuñez has also accomplished becoming an instructor in the criminal justice field. However, he is most proud of being a boxing instructor at the ABC Youth Foundation, Mongoose Boxing Gym, where he inspires underrepresented youth to become leaders of high moral character in light of their obstacles and gives them a fighting chance against negative influences.

District Attorney Martin Nunez is also the President of the National Latino Peace Officers Association, San Diego Metro Chapter.
A historic election since Martin is the first San
Diego County Deputy DA to be elected President of
the local chapter.

The National Latino Peace Officers Association is the
largest Latino law enforcement association in the United
States.
